Otis Harbor Springs welcomes service animals in accordance with ADA regulations.
While we do not allow pets inside guest rooms or indoor common areas, we do make an exception for guests visiting our café or lounge: leashed pets are welcome on the lounge deck and courtyard.
We ask that all pet owners kindly clean up after their pets and ensure they are not disruptive to other guests. Thank you for helping us keep the space comfortable and enjoyable for everyone.
Cancellations made more than 21 days before arrival will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made within 21 days will forfeit 50% of the total booking.
Cancellations made within 14 days—including same-day cancellations, no-shows, and early departures—are non-refundable.
Date changes made more than 21 days prior to arrival are free of charge.
Changes made within 21 days are treated as cancellations and may result in forfeiture of up to 50% of the deposit.
Changes within 14 days will incur a 100% charge of the original booking.
We place a $150 hold on your credit card at check-in for incidentals. This is not a charge—it simply appears as a pending authorization and will be released after your stay.

We welcome guests in every season, with the exception of a short Spring Break refresh from late March through early May.
This annual closure allows us to make updates, do deep cleaning, and get everything ready for summer. This year, we’re closed from March 22nd to May 5th.
Our hotel is a single-story, mid-century modern retreat made up of three buildings with exterior room entrances.
We are not directly on the lake. Our property sits on a bluff with peekaboo views in the summer and broader lake views in winter. There are beautiful beaches and lake access points nearby—one just 2 minutes away. We’d love to recommend our favorites.
We’re located on scenic M-119 (The Tunnel of Trees), about a 10-minute drive from downtown Harbor Springs and 30 minutes from Petoskey.
